Heute gehts mir schon deutlich besser - noch keine Katastrophen passiert (ok, es ist auch erst 10 vor 10) und die Perlen von gestern sind gar nicht so schlecht geworden. Das ist eine davon. Ich versuch momentan, meiner Flut von Bunt-Stringern (mach ich immer aus Resten, wenn mir sonst nix einfällt) Herr zu werden. Einer dieser Stringer machte bei dieser Perle den Untergrund, darauf knubbelige Blümchen aus Hellhimmelblau und Bergsaphir.
Und der Tumbler tut auch wieder. War nur irgendein innerer Filter verstopft. *smile*

Hi Veronique,
yes I explained - it is a mixed Stringer on Czech Ornela Ivory. The Stringer is made with several opaque reds and yellows; I always make them when I have no other idea ;) just mix a few short pieces at the end of two mandrels until they make a marble pattern, and pull them to stringers.
The flowers are light sky blue and Ornela mountain sapphire.

Great idea to melt colors and pull a stringer with them.
I do that with frits, with two rods of transparent glass.

I use up my shorts that way; sometimes I mix a little bit of black in to add a bit of contrast, but not too much, that would make it very dark.
And - no COE problems ;)
